Trust and confidence in financial institutions
In the past we have undertaken research on trust and confidence in financial institutions with an emphasis on the products being sold, advice and account operation. In today's climate the emphasis is more fundamental with the queues surrounding Northern Rock branches in the summer of 2007 highlighting the worries over the solvency of banks.
We are seeking a partner to develop a measure of trust and confidence in financial institutions. A Populus poll for The Times showed 44% of consumers are worried about the safety of money in a bank.
